To Whom It May Concern -
Firstly, we would like to thank you for sticking with us through our impromptu hiatus these past six months. It’s a true testament to you as fans and friends. We are forever grateful.
Nothing is so bittersweet as saying goodbye to someone who has shared three years of their life with you - especially family - but sometimes saying goodbye is the best thing for both of you.
It is with much sadness that we tell you that Matt and Casey have decided to leave Fourth Quarter Comeback. Casey’s love for music remains unparalleled, but lies in places other than on a stage with us, and Matt has decided to follow more personal ambitions. he is applying for college in the fall. Andy and I wish two of our best friends nothing but success in whatever they pursue until the world ends, and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts for sharing so much of their lives with us as friends, musicians, brothers, and above all else, family. From sleeping in a van on a winter night in the middle of Nowhere, New Jersey, to playing our hearts out in front of 10 to 500 kids, to arguing over where we were going to eat dinner while lost in a city, we will never forget anything.
Fourth Quarter Comeback, however, is not saying goodbye.
Andy and I are coming back to you, harder than ever, and we will never stop spilling our songs to you in any setting possible. We have been making music for five years, and nothing is going to stand in our way. So be prepared to keep listening to, seeing, and hearing about Fourth Quarter Comeback.
We are not the same, but we will never change.
Andrew Garcia, and Benjamin Cobb
